Richy Lala

Richy Lala (Richard Leis), is a happy-go-lucky native
Philadelphian who’s surprising dark side shocks audiences up and
down the East Coast. On stage he agily jumps from sincerity to
sarcasm, dry wit to up-roaring energy! Crowd after crowd love
this uniquely semitic, hard working, funny man!
Formerly, Richy has Improv training at Philadelphia’s Walnut
Street Theater, and Pittsburgh Filmmakers. A twenty year student
of the arts, Richy is a born Stand-Up who has to be seen to be
believed!
"As a young girl I grew up sheltered in the Philadelphia suburbs. Only
knowing an elderly woman with a goiter, I tended to spend most
of my time in dark, damp places(ie-xxx review on 19th and
market, and most recently Mayor John Streets underpants). Being
the overlooked middle child, my parents referred to me only as
Michael’s younger sister, or had commonly introduced me to their
friends as the nanny or housekeeper Ramona, which kind of made
sense, since at age 9 I had one of those Puerto Rican woman
mustaches. Now, everything that I tried so hard to repress is
coming out in my stand-up comedy."
